I had not written that the translation is wrong but I had mentioned that some of very important parts of the story had been censored! Censorship means that you choose some parts of the story which are the statements of one side and eliminate the other parts of the story which is the statements of the opposing side. In your new story,which some parts have been corrected, again the unfair arranging of the story is still remaining [1]. You have written that: "The most of the population of N Karabakh are Armanis but UN recognizes this area as a part of the Azerbaijan republic." you imply that the UN is wrong! If not, you should also bring up the statement of the Azerbaijan republic [2], "Azerbaijan says the separatist Armenian authorities came to power in Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of ethnic cleansing and that the enclave must not be allowed to break away."

In the other part you have written that: "Mr Sahakyan compares the Nagorno-Karabakh with Kosovo which has support of the west countries for independence." But you did not mention that [2], "But the UN, which is considering a plan that offers Kosovo "supervised independence", has rejected any similar settlement for Nagorno-Karabakh."

The fair report means that if you mention the claim of one side, you supposed to refer to the statement of the other side of the story as well. If you want to make the report shorter, you should eliminate the statements of the both sides not just one side of the story!? If it is not the censorship, please you tell me that what can we call this kind of reporting of the stories?!

The translated story is not wrong and can't be said its against one side while favouring the other one.

We usually do not translate the title exactly as it is in English section.

In the Persian news, it's not said about international community's opinion on Nagorno 

Karabakh, probably because it's translated from an early story which was not fully

developed.

In stories we've had  so far on Karabakh, we have never falsified the facts, as it's the case

with the story we have today on Karabakh.

Your Comments: Censorship in the Persian website of BBC!? Unfortunately, despite of several complaints which have been sent to BBC about the systematic censorship in Persian service of BBC against ethnic minorities in Iran especially Azeri minorities, it is still continuing in the Persian radio and website. If the BBC service does not cover the demonstrations of Azeri people (for example the demonstration of Tabriz people on May 22, 2007 which its videos spread out in the internet websites [1]) with this claim that they do not have the trustable news resources, but why they censor the trustable news from English website of BBC in translation to Persian?! On Friday, 20 July 2007, an article with the title "N Karabakh elects separatist head" has been released in English service of BBC world [2]. But in its translation to Persian [3] several unfair censorship and mistranslation have been occurred: 1. Mistranslation of the title: (dealing with N karabakh as if it is a UN recognized country!) "Sahakian became president of Karabakh"?! Instead of original title: "N Karabakh elects separatist head". 2. Very important parts of the article have been censored e.g. "Nagorno Karabakh is part of Azerbaijan, which has dismissed the vote." "No country currently recognises the enclave's claim." "But the UN, which is considering a plan that offers Kosovo "supervised independence", has rejected any similar settlement for Nagorno-Karabakh." "Azerbaijan says the separatist Armenian authorities came to power in Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of ethnic cleansing and that the enclave must not be allowed to break away." 3. In the original article, it is classified in the European section in the website but in the Persian website it is classified in Asian section!!?
