سالهاست که جمهوری اسلامی ایران در پی دست یافتن به فناوری هسته ای است. تکنولوژی ای که برای کشورنفت خیزی همچون ایران در اولویت چندانی قرار ندارد ولی بر اثر اصرار مقامات حکومت جمهور اسلامی، دست یافتن به آن از نان شب مردم هم واجب تر شده است و حاکمان کشور دسترسی به آنرا حق مسلم ملت دانسته اند
رئیس جمهور این رژیم هم در سخنانی گفته است حتی اگر ده سال تمام کارهای مملکت عقب بیفتد و به این تکنولوژی دست پیدا کنیم ارزش دارد! سئوال اینجاست که جمهوری اسلامی چه تعریفی از حق مسلم دارند و آیا آنها می توانند از سوی ملت ایران سخن بگویند؟ آیا حاضرند طی یک رفراندوم از ملت ایران درباره بقای رژیم نظرخواهی کنند؟ و ملت تا کی باید تاوان زیاده خواهی جمهوری اسلامی و عناد رهبران حاکم بر این رژیم را با جهانیان پس بدهد؟ آیا صرف هزینه های بسیار گزاف 1.5 میلیار دلاری در سال، برای تأمین انرژی برقی به وسیله انرژی هسته ای واقعا نیاز ملت ایران است؟ آیا اهداف جمهوری اسلامی از دنبال کردن پروژه غنی سازی اورانیم، صلح امیز است؟ کشوری که روی دریایی از منابع انرژی خوابیده است چه احتیاجی به فناوری هسته ای دارد؟ آیا صرف هزینه های کلان مالی و رودررو شدن با تمام جهان، به سود ملت ایران است؟ آیا امتیازاتی که در این زمینه به روسیه داده می شود کافی نیست؟ سئوال ملت ایران از حاکمان رژیم این است: آیا حق آزادی بیان، آزادی عقیده و آزادی انتخاب نوع حکومت جزء حق مسلم ملت نیست؟
آیا ملت ایران حق ندارد بپرسد چرا آنها باید تاوان زیاده خواهی حکومت را در قالب تحریمهای اقتصادی بچشند؟ آیا رفع معضل بیکاری، فقر، فساد و گرسنگی حق مسلم مردم ایران نیست؟ آیا تعجب برانگیز نیست که جمهوری اسلامی با حجم عظیم ذخایر گازی و نفتی، به دنبال غنی سازی اورانیوم است؟ چگونه می توان به حکومتی که رهبر آن، جهانیان را تهدید به بی نظمی و آشوب می کند اعتماد کرد؟ چگونه می توان از کنار فساد اداری، درجه بندی ملت ایران به خودی و غیر خودی سخن نگفت؟ چگونه می توان به رژیمی که پایبند هیچ قاعده و قانونی نیست و مصوبات سازمان ملل متحد را به کاغذپاره تشبیه می کند اعتماد کرد؟
ملت ایران راهی جدا از راه حاکمیت را برگزیده است، ملت ایران خواهان صلح در جهان است، آنها از اینهمه جوسازیهای رژیم خسته شده اند. آنها از کمبودهای اقتصادی و عدم آزادیهای اجتماعی رنج می برند نه از محرومیت هسته ای! ملت ایران خواهان آزادی های سیاسی، اجتماعی، فرهنگی و مذهبی هستند.ملت ایران خواهان آب و برق و گاز هستند. ملت ایران خواهان تعامل با جهانیان هستند. آنها خواهان حکومتی هستند که به درد آنها برسد نه به درد مردم نیکاراگوئه، کوبا، فلسطین ، عراق و

ایرانیان خواهان صلح هستند، خواهان اجرای عدالت هستند. خواهان ریشه کن شدن فقر هستند. آنها می خواهند در فضای پر عطر و بوی آزادی تنفس کنند و خواهان آزادی ایران از دست حاکمان بی لیاقت کنونی هستند. آنها بمب اتم نمی خواهند.چرا که هیچ حکومتی و هیچ کشوری با جنگ به فرجام مطلوب نمی رسد. حاکمان ایران باید بدانند که نیازهای واقعی مردم با جاه طلبی های آنان تفاوتهای عمده ای دارد. حق مسلم ملت ایران در روزگار کنونی چیزی غیر از فناوری هسته ای است؛ فناوری که دستیابی به آن نه تنها دردی از دردهای جامعه را بهبود نمی بخشد بلکه ایران را به منزوی شدن هرچه بیشتر، و مردم را به فقر و فلاکت و عقب ماندگی افزونتر رهنمون می کند

The Islamic Republic of Iran has been making efforts to obtain nuclear technology for years. This technology is not a priority need for a country like Iran which is rich in terms of oil. However, as a result of the insistence of the Islamic Republic leadership, reaching nuclear technology has become more important than people’s making a living, and the leadership has tried to show that reaching this technology is a right of the nation that cannot be given up.

In his speech, President of this regime said “It is worth getting this technology even if the state affairs go back to the time of 10 years ago”. Here, one must ask what is meant by the right that cannot be given up. Do they have the right to speak on behalf of the nation? Can they ask the Iranian nation through a referendum whether they want the regime to continue or not? How longer the nation will have to pay for the practices of the Islamic Republic’s authorities? Is generating electricity by using this nuclear energy costing as high as 1.5 billion dollars annually a true need of the Iranian nation? Is the aim of the uranium enrichment project of the Islamic Republic a peaceful one? Does a country located on the sea of energy resources need nuclear technology? Is paying high prices and opposing the whole world a benefit for the Iranian nation? Are the concessions made to Russia not enough? The Iranian nation asks the men of the regime “Doesn’t the nation have the right to freedom of thought, freedom of speech and freedom to elect the leadership?”

Doesn’t the Iranian nation have the right to question the reason for the payment of the price of what is being done by the leadership through economic embargoes? Isn’t it the right of the Iranian nation to have unemployment, poverty, corruption and starvation eliminated? Isn’t it strange for the Islamic Republic to seek uranium enrichment despite its extensive gas and oil resources? How can one trust a leadership the leader of which threatens the world with disorder and uprisings? How can the administrative corruption be ignored, which classifies the Iranian nation as those favoring it and those not favoring it? How can one trust a regime which does not obey any rules and laws and refers to the resolutions approved by the United Nations as scrap?

The Iranian nation does not approve the way followed by the leadership. The Iranian nation wants peace in the world. They are disturbed by the environment created by this regime. They suffer from economic deficiencies and lack of social justice and freedoms, not from nuclear deprivation… The Iranian nation wants religious, cultural, social and political freedom. The Iranian nation wants water, gas and electricity. The Iranian nation wants to be in agreement with the whole world. They want a country which takes care of their own sufferings, not a country like Nicaragua, Cuba and Palestine...

Iranians want peace. They want justice to be applied. They want to have poverty eradicated. They want to breathe in places where they can feel the smell of freedom. They want to get rid of the incapable administrators of Iran. No leadership or country can reach its goal through war. Leaders of Iran must understand that there is a difference between their demands and the real demands of people. Nuclear technology is not what Iran needs. Acquiring this technology will not solve any of the problems of people; on the contrary, it will result in the further isolation of the country and increased poverty of people.
